"Passage to Life”

Artist Statement

This artwork highlights the vital role of healthcare workers, with a focus on the moral responsibility of physicians. At its center, I depict a physician delivering a newborn—symbolizing life, hope, and the profound trust placed in medical professionals during critical moments.

This composition features an arch in the background, symbolizing strength, support, and the passage toward healing. The newborn raising both hands suggests a powerful gesture—born from reflex and natural movement, yet carrying deeper meaning when interpreted as life, hope, and new beginnings.

Through this work, I aim to honor the dedication of healthcare professionals and remind viewers of the humanity and responsibility at the heart of medicine.
